A conversation between my Id, Ego, and Superego during my very bad day:
Ego: kimber. Calm the hell down. When was the last time you took a deep breath?
Id: i don't knowwww....
Ego: Never mind. That was a rhetorical question. Just breathe, okay? Deep breath.
Id: ok
Ego: There, isn't that better?
Id: yes better
Ego: Now, do you think this might be a good time for the Happy Place?
Id: yay, happy place!
Ego: Yes, yay Happy Place. Let's start on three. One...
Id: um, it was a dark and stormy night?
Superego: You dumbass, that's not the Happy Place! What the hell is wrong with you?
Id: i don't knowwww....
Ego: Okay, I give up, let's just all freak out now.
*shrill keening sound commences*
